Local Advertising Agency Wins Trade Awards

          Jet Marketing & Advertising, was awarded five ADDY Awards by the American Advertising Federation-Victoria.
          AAF-Victoria is the regional branch of the national American Advertising Federation, the oldest advertising trade association in the nation, representing 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry.
          The agency won two gold awards for the Victoria Convention and Visitors Bureau ‘Bring Your Boots’ campaign; a silver award for the Cuero Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture & Visitor’s Center ‘Enjoy the Story’ campaign; a silver award for The Venue on Church Street sales kit; and a bronze award for custom Lucchese Victoria boots that were part of the ‘Bring Your Boots’ campaign.
          A gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition, according to the AAF. Silver ADDYs are considered outstanding and worthy of recognition.
          “It is very exciting to see the boots campaign be rewarded by the advertising community,” said Janell McPhail, owner of Jet Marketing & Advertising. “We are thankful for our clients. Without them we would not have the opportunity to create great advertising.”
          Jet Marketing received the awards at the AAF-Victoria annual award banquet on February 17.
          Jet Marketing & Advertising also celebrated its one-year anniversary on February 17. The company is based in Cuero and works with companies and government agencies across South Texas.
